Plotting my course as a young award-winning photojournalist, I armed myself with a camera and psychology degree from Michigan State University, and embarked on a continental exploration of newspapers.

During that time,  I assembled a collection of mastheads: a Gazette-Times and Register-Guard in Oregon, a Sun in Washington, an Observer in North Carolina, a News in Maine, and a Tribune in Chicago. The last 11 years of my career I have established myself as a freelance photographer in Chicago specializing in advertising, lifestyle, portrait and food photography.

My goal is to utilize my skills as a photographer to capture compelling moments and stunning visual images. I am invested in providing clients with the same professionalism and quality of light:  shooting locally in my Pilsen photo studio,  on-location in the Chicagoland area, or around the country.
